2010 Show & Workshop Schedule
Workshops
I occasionally do a workshop. These are usually for 10 to 14 artists, any more & I don't feel I can give the individual instruction I like. The workshops are on subjects such as color theory, painting fur & feathers, painting a still life, landscapes, painting from photo reference, plein aire, textures. I enjoy giving the workshops and find I come away with new ideas & knowledge.

Workshop on painting from your reference.
This will include various ways of forming a painting from your own reference material. It will cover, choosing reference & interesting crops, various ways of transferring the image from your photo or photos, adjusting color & value through preliminary base drawing, etc. Other media than oil may be used.
